This memorial website was created to remember our dearest William Harrison Bennett who was born in Dallas City, IL on June 26, 1927 and passed away on July 29, 2007. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Bill was a loving husband and father.....and a good friend to have. His life on earth touched the lives of many......his pasting will touch the hearts of many more.
His memory will live forever in the hearts of the ones who loved him. To keep his memory alive is the far greatest tribute any of us can give to him.....and the only tribute he would have asked for.

Four loving step children.....Michael Steines, Alpha, IL Rick Steines, Lyles, TN Sheri Hanson, Little York, IL and David Steines, Galesburg, IL
15 step grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren.
A sister Darlene Rubey, Gainesville, Mo.

No farewell words were spoken, No time to say "Goodbye", You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness, and secret tears still flow, What it meant to love you - No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me to mourn for you no more; To remember all the happy times, life still has much in store.
