I will never forget the laugh he got out of the toilet paper that stuck in mary's slacks!!! he found joy in everything!I will treasure the wood clock he made us and the picture frame for charlie's picture. we love you bill..
Even though we were not close the last 5 -15 years, I still have very fond memories of Grandpa, the one that Mom mentioned, I will never forgot. I remember sitting with Grandpa at the old house in Burlington breaking snap peas on the stairs for the dinner that evening. Also going camping with Grandpa. I miss you very much Grandpa!
My favorite memory....
I always get a good chuckle when Grandpa used to turn his hearing aids down so he didn't hear anything or anyone, and when he would get yelled at; he had a sly move he'd do to turn them up and act like he was just paying attention to the TV. I loved it when Grandpa and Grandma taught me to play card games or when Grandpa would take me fishing, but what really made me laugh was when Grandpa would always hide his cigarettes from grandma. He always hid them under the hood of the van, knowing she'd never look there! It was our secret and I never told anybody.
I love you and miss you Grandpa
I've enclosed a picture of me and your beautiful great-granddaughter.
My favorite memory of Bill (and there's a photo of it) is when my daughter, Jamie, was about 2 years old. She had crawled up on Grandpa's lap and fell asleep -- and so did Grandpa! It's a wonderful picture that shows how very loving Bill always was...
THE BEST MEMORY OF BILL IS HOW THAT MAN LOVED TO EAT AND PLAY POKER AND WE WILL MISS HIM DEARLY.
